By nature, I'm a very relaxed person. I rarely get angry for more than ten minutes. One of my biggest flaws is not confronting people about my issues with them. I tend to be very blunt to people I don't know but I never treat my friends the same way. This means I don't say how I feel to keep the peace rather than saying what needs to be said to a friend. Recently, my friend has been ignoring me. Rather than tell her that I'm angry, I've been bottling my feelings and telling my other girlfriends how I feel. I know it isn't healthy for me to continue this pattern.
My lesson today to you and for myself is to express yourself. Do not let people think that you both are on the same train when really you are on the way to New York and them to San Francisco. It's important to not have unspoken feelings because you never know what could happen between now and the future. My challenge to myself and you is to express how you truly feel to someone you usually don't and see how you feel afterwards. Let me know how it goes :)
