When I was little, I always thought of sparkly things as something decadent and super special. Now, as a young woman, I still love sparkles but realize that it's not the most cost effective for my closet. Today, I bought some sparkly shoes because I liked them and they were fun.
Buy things because you like them and not just because it's a neutral color. (They were also like $9. I have a rule that I buy anything I like that is less than $10. No regrets.)
Life is too short to not have the things you want, as long as you can afford them.
