Recipe: A Coffee Treat


I really enjoy my afternoon cup of coffee. I make iced coffee with sugar free syrup or honey almost every day. When I'm feeling a little indulgent or in the mood for something a little different, I whip up this little coffee with ice cream treat.

You'll need:
Sugar free syrup or coffee syrup in your favorite flavor - I like vanilla or caramel
Vanilla Ice Cream- about a cup of ice cream
Freshly brewed coffee - it needs to be hot to melt some of the ice cream about 10 ounces

Instructions:
1. Put the ice cream in the mug but leave space for the coffee to get to the bottom. You want to be able to get coffee in between the layers of ice cream.

2. Drizzle about a tablespoon of syrup into the mug.

3. Brew the coffee and pour over the ice cream. I have a keurig at home that I use to make this.

4. Enjoy your afternoon treat!
