Style Influence: Mixing it Up

As summer starts up and brunch season really gets kicking, I'm drawn to mixing work pieces with casual pieces. Sunday is usually a day of rest but also a day a preparation for the week ahead. Something I would wear to brunch also should work for church or grocery shopping. This weekend, I'm wearing skinny khaki pants, a blouse with some casual sandals and a fun straw bag out to brunch with my ladies. (I plan my outfits way in advanced because I hate not knowing what to wear the morning of the event) If there's any lesson I've learned in fashion, you need to mix high and low, formal and casual to make something that is true to you and unique.
