Taylor's Boston Guide

Living in Boston for a summer allowed me to get a good feel on what there is to do in the city. I love making guides of what I loved so that everyone else can have an awesome trip with some great instagram worthy spots and great food. Enjoy and email me if you have any questions.

Transportation

I basically took the T everywhere. Get a Charlie Card when you get into the city and it is reloadable like a metro card and basically will save your life! I used an app called Embark Boston and that made it super easy to get anywhere! Google Maps works well too but screenshot everything to save data and battery.

Nature

Charles River
Great for walking or bike riding

Christian Science Reflecting Pool
Right near a mall so grab food and eat here!
Also great to sit and read a book near by!

Cape Cod
Take a day trip here! I went to Hyannis but the whole Cape is gorgeous!

The North End
Near all the water and boats - so relaxing
I always bring a book and snack and just chill!

Boston Common
I spent most of my summer here with a book and friends.
It's the most relaxing and happy place in Boston to me!

Museums

MIT Museum
Good for kids or kids at heart!
$5 bucks with Student ID

Harvard Museum of Natural History
Super cool glass plants and animals
Also a ton of stuffed animals - giraffe is gorgeous :/

Institute of Contemporary Art
So weird but so good!

Museum of Fine Art
One of my favorites ever! So much to see - take two days for sure!

The Classics

Harvard University
Must see - so pretty and so many cool buildings

MIT
Just as gorgeous but with a nerdy twist - rent bikes and ride around the area.

Boston Public Library
Perfection in a place and book sales = OMG
One of my favorite places to do work and blog
Free Wifi and they have a coffee shop inside!

Newbury Street
SHOPPING! Get ready for shopping and eating
and basically everything glorious in the world.

New England Aquarium
So awesome and great for friend dates!
The seals are amazing!

Post Office Square Park
Great for girl chats and people watching!

To Eat

Sweet Green
The salads are amazing and organic.
The lemonade is the bomb too - this one above was Blueberry Basil.

Cape Cod: Pain D. Avignon
So so so good - the bread is like 1000x better than store bought.

Sweet Bakery
So So so good - the lemon blueberry is to die for!

Tatte Bakery
The croissants are awesome and there is always a line or wait.
TOTALLY WORTH IT!

L.A. Burdick
Classic chocolate - expensive but so rich.

My Vegan Cafe
So good - get the lemongrass "chicken"

Georgetown Cupcake
Classic and so good - key line is the best one. Then birthday cake.

Hopefully, these place help you to plan your best trip to Boston yet!
