Relieving stress is so important. Stress is something that can creep up and mess up your daily life. I know in school, I would literally not be able to sleep when I was stressed. This would cause me to drink a ton of coffee and this would make me not sleep well at night until all of the work I had to get done was done. My last semester was pretty good for me in terms of stress but at the end of a week with a ton due, there was nothing better than baking something and then watching some TV or reading a book. Even weekends when I would normally go out the whole time, I would spend time recharging my batteries with mindlessness after all of the mindfulness. With a ton of things looming over my head, I'm in a state of stress again. Moving across the country for work, going to China and making sure I have enough time to get comfortable in a new city are all very real things for me right now. Today, I had to sit back, relax and remember that I will be fine and always make it through. Baking does help with that though ;)
I admit that these two weeks have been pretty bad in the fashion department. If I did not have a meeting or something to dress up for, I bummed it pretty hard. I am not ashamed of it either. I got bronchitis and had to get better before my finals began. After two doses of anti-biotics, I feel like myself again and not that a giant elephant man is sitting on my chest and I inhaled a bee hive. Back to the style though, here are some things I wore, some that I am so not proud of but I wanted to make sure that you know that even me, the overdressing queen, looks like a typical college student when faced with a ton of stress.
Yogas and a thermal long sleeve for a long day of studying and work.
I was so comfortable that I almost fell asleep!
I ended up going out that night because why not?
I also wanted to see AP and KH before the semester ended!
It was a successful night based on the fact that we got 4/5 of our apartment out for the night!!
Boots, sweater and big earrings. I love this sweater.
It is like a waffle knit thing and it's actually a dream for getting dressed.
Same sweater, different day with skinny sweats.
I only own one pair of sweats - this is it!
Big sweater, jeans, boots and a scarf.
Simple and I felt like a million bucks for my exam!
2/5 bummy outfits!
Not bad but this is from a girl who wore a wrap dress to a final freshman year...
