This Sunday, I had the pleasure of attending an afternoon tea at the Ballantyne Hotel in Charlotte, NC. Dane Dover has been hosting these events all over the country to promote their brand and meet the ladies who love it! After seeing the post on Instagram, I knew it would be a blast!
I showed up at the hotel and all of their bags were on display. I get their emails and I knew I wanted to see the new clutch and slim wallet on display. It was as awesome as I thought it would be! After perusing the bags, we got to sit down for a full afternoon tea complete with champagne, scones, and sandwiches. The ladies I sat with were absolutely lovely and it was so nice to meet smart career women from the Charlotte area. I got to sit with Melissa, the CEO of Dagne Dover, hear her story and fall even more in love with the brand. Above is a photo of all of us together! Dagne Dover has 9 people on their staff and they create the most beautiful things! I cannot wait to see what this year brings for them.
After tea, we got to take home a tea blend from Unwind, a local tea shop to Pineville. They had green or black tea to be mixed with a berry blend, healing herb or peppermint herbal tea. I got the green tea with healing herb blend and it smells amazing.
At the end, they raffled off some bags and though I did not win one, I love that some people got to try the brand out for the first time! I hope you ladies love your bags! I currently own the 13 inch tote in Cork (shown in the above picture). I love it for the water bottle holder, key holder and the spacious pockets. It has lasted through plenty of rain and beer spilled on it. I cannot recommend it enough.
