With Valentine's Day in the air, I'm digging all the heart shaped things. I always go to Dunkin to get a heart shaped donut (shoutout to the Vanilla Creme in a heart shape) but now Starbucks has heart shaped boxes on the cup! I am kind of obsessed and will instagram at least one, if not more of the cute cups!
After a summer of Starbucks all the time, I realized that I needed to learn how to make my own coffee well. I bought a french press, a milk frother and watched a ton of Youtube videos. This is one my favorite things to make and there are many more coffee tutorials coming as I learn more things to make.
Things you need:
Milk - I used unsweeted Vanilla Soymilk
Hot Chocolate mix - Starbucks Salted Caramel Mix
Tools:
Milk Frother
Milk Frothing Jug
Mug
Microwave
How to:
1. Heat the milk in the microwave in the mug for 1.5 minutes.
2. Pour the mix into the frothing jug.
3. When the milk is hot, pour into the jug.
4. Use the milk frother to mix the two together.
Here is an image of what it looks like when you use the frother.
5. Stop when you get the hot chocolate to be nice and frothy.
6. Pour into your warm mug and garnish with anything of your choice - whipped cream, marshmallow, chocolate chips... :]

Finals Week Snaps
It's no secret to anyone that knows me well that I love Starbucks. I usually go at least 4 times a week to finals week madness when I go multiple times a day. Today, when I went to the Starbucks in downtown State College, everything in the store was pink for their new line of bakery treats by La Boulange ! I snapped a couple pics because I had to get back to studying but look how adorable!

Yesterday, I had my first exam of the semester. I went to class and cooped myself up in the library afterwards to study until right before the exam. It was not the first best exam I've ever had considering the teacher put way too many calculations on it for the time allotted. I did learn my lesson and know better for the next exam, which is always a good thing. Another good thing is that I knew everything I needed to know, from G4.0 and maintained a stress free countenance all day. I always take time to study outside while its still nice out in State College. I also like to dress up a bit for exams. It makes me feel alot better and puts me in the right mindset. A simple scarf top combo with skinnies and ballet flats left me comfortable yet chic.
