As every girl knows, graduation pictures are the name of the game. I am obsessed with how my pictures came out! My friend Malik took my pictures all around campus at my favorite places and I had to share with you all! I wore a standard cap and gown but my dress is old J.Crew that I found on Ebay for a steal! White dresses are adorable but I am a mess so I felt like I would stain it. The navy worked out perfectly!

This picture was taken outside my old dorm while waiting for the Lion Shrine. The Engineering Dorm in Mckee Hall was located in such a good area! 

Laying on the Lion Shrine was a problem because I needed to use my muscles and it was hard. This lion is slippery! 

I love when these pink trees bloom on campus so I am so happy they started blooming right before my pictures! 

I love the idea of shots without my face! This is at Old Main - one of the oldest buildings on campus!

The Duck Pond is one of the places I love to spend time at! I love the flowers and all of the people!

This past weekend was my last weekend as the Official NSBE president and my last Blue and White Game. It keeps hitting me that I get to leave this wonderful place and start in the real world - day by day, event by event. The weekend started with the annual NSBE Endowment Banquet. WE had a ton of our chapter come out as well as our advisor and one of our sponsors. 

I had to give the State of the Chapter address. I talked about a lot of things that we did that were awesome this year and some things to work on! It's really exciting to see how many different new things that we brought to our chapter and will continue to get to the chapter. I also won the Ms. Impact award because I made an big impact on our NSBE chapter this year and that almost made me cry. It was so good to end my term with all this happy energy and I cannot wait to see what my best friend does as president! That night, I had engineering girl powwow with some of my friends and some awesome hard cider because we did not want to be hungover for tailgating on Saturday :] 

Saturday started with mimosas and waffle tacos at KH's house. I was so excited to try something different and she knows how to throw down in the kitchen! (Thanks a million times, KH!)

After eating, we went tailgating before the game and it was awesome! I got to see a lot of my favorites and meet parents and family that came up for the weekend. There was plenty of food and alcohol dispersed with water because day drinking is an art at Penn State.  

I wore a dress because that's how I dress for football games. It is an old one from Old Navy tied with a ribbon from Abercrombie. My little bag is from Kohl's and I had on some white Tennis shoes from Walmart because they are cheap and I don't care if they get messed up! 

As with any tailgate - there is a ton of sitting in truck beds, drinking shots out of ice luges and dancing. I went into the game for a little bit at the end because I wanted to be in Beaver Stadium one last time as an undergraduate. It was bittersweet but my friend SS got this awesome shot of me and the Lion happened to be coming by. TALK ABOUT LUCK! That night I went to Liberty -a beer bar that I will have to do a review of - it was that awesome. I hung out with new friends from a club I am in and we had a blast playing Heads Up at the bar! Overall, I had a great time this weekend and it really cemented a great year with a great last Blue and White Game. 

My best friend was here this weekend and of course, we had to try out everything in State College that she doesn't have in Waltham, MA. BM loves bubble tea and thus we went twice in a 24 hour period. Despite my usual hate of the bubbles in bubble tea, I really enjoyed the different flavors and options at Kung Fu Tea. I had a coffee milk tea and then an Oreo Milk Tea - both were awesome! Bri got plain and then almond the next time. I loved the music playing in the cafe - the pop boy bands can dance! We also enjoyed the machine that seals the top of the drinks because we are an engineer and an engineer at heart. If you get a chance, stop by and let me know how awesome you find it! 

Today is one of those rare days on campus where it's snowing and it's absolutely gorgeous! I took a few pictures on my walk around campus for work and had to share. A Penn State Winter Wonderland is like no other, my friends! 

If there's one thing I've really cherished, it is being at Penn State and meeting all of my best friends. Being decently far into the fall semester, I'm starting to realize that I graduate in May. MAY! That is crazy to me. The years have come and went and it blows my mind completely to the moon. I remember freshman year in the dorm meeting so many people, dancing in my heels with KW or doing the oddest of things with AF or SW. It was a grand year. I interned the summer after that and had a blast really getting know more African American engineering students who were silly just like me.  I remember the sophomore slump and becoming friends with JF and JM and even EW. I can't believe that I became treasurer and conference planning chair of my NSBE chapter in my junior year. I came into who I really was the summer after that - an art loving optimistic yogini with a taste for nautical elegant clothing. Here I am, senior year, president of my club, involved in so many things on campus, interviewing for jobs and figuring out what I will do as a real person. Time flies. This semester has been flying. Pretty soon, it will be Thanksgiving, finals and then Christmas and New Years. 

The all of these great things that happened to me maybe would not have happened had I not went to Penn State. I thank my lucky stars everyday that this was the one place I felt like I could see myself, way back in my senior year of high school. The little adventure my mom and I had here seems like miles away and yet I can remember everything that made me want to come here. The people were so so so friendly. The food was good, something more edible than the food I tried everywhere else. The campus is beautiful, one of the most memorable sights in my mind. The people who graduated from here are doing such big things. And those things ARE still here now. This place is one of the few that makes me happy just being here. And I know in my heart, I will be one of those alumni who flys out for a game when she can or buys all of the college kids at the bar a drink because I know what is like to watch your pennies. It's a place that makes you want to be a better person, to do the best you can in life. So my most heartfelt thanks, Dear Old State, for molding me into a great person and making me realize the potential I had inside just needed to be shined.

I usually take a picture everyday to share with my friends Bryne and Bri because they do not Snapchat. Here is what I look like on a typical basis.

I had a ton of meetings this day and I love pullovers for that kind of days. They are so comfy but still dressed up enough to make me feel comfortable talking to people I admire in the College of Engineering. I always buy them bigger so that I can wear skinny jeans or leggings underneath.

On Tuesday, the high was 80 degrees! I wore a skirt because I hate wearing pants longer than necessary and this Lilly Murfee Scarf I picked up during the End of Summer sale. It was like a little cardigan in colder rooms and added so much color to my outfit.
