Yesterday was Penn State's first home game of the season! I love game days - not when it is too hot out but yesterday was a great time. We won 21 -3 against Akron. There were a few interceptions and wrong calls but overall Penn State did awesome. Coach Franklin is killing it! I wanted to wear something casual but not a t-shirt and shorts so I threw on one of my many blue and white striped dresses for the game. I bought this one at Old Navy a couple years ago and it was one of my best purchases ever. I really think for these first couple of games, the key is to wear something that won't give you bad tan lines, feels comfortable, or show sweat. Standing for 4 hours in something that is not comfy will drive you insane.
P.S. One of my favorite parts of every game is the Blue Band Halftime Show. They always do the coolest themes and today's theme was Happy. Below is the best formation of the Blue Band during the show. While playing Happy, they formed into a smiley with a hat on - it supposed to be Pharell!
